About the Photographer

Barbara Hollweg, always artistic and captivated by animals, discovered two passions later in life. After purchasing a high quality digital camera, she embarked on a long-anticipated adventure into the African bush and subsequently immersed herself into the worlds of f-stops, shutter speeds, PhotoShop, and wild animals in remote regions of the world. She regularly donates her photographic images and web design expertise to non-profits in the US and in Africa. Barbara lives in Dallas with her husband, a fellow adventure traveler, and two yellow labs; she is the proud parent of a daughter, as well as the adoring grandmother of two precious grandchildren.
